羊は夢を編む

I sometimes encounter beautiful things in my dreams when I sleep.
'Oh, this is a dream,' I think, trying desperately to draw this scene in my mind, trying to remember it.
When I wake up, the scene is a blur and I cannot recall it clearly.
However, the thought "I saw something beautiful" and the memory of being impressed by its beauty certainly remain.

This sheep is one of the things I encountered in my dream.
As I wove my dim memories, I followed the lines.
I specialise in colourful stained-glass style paintings, but this painting is in black and white.
Milky white and black glass. I don't care if there is such stained glass. Because this is a dream, a painting.
At the end of this year, I painted "a painting that is uniquely me, something I could not have painted in the past, but in a different way".
I hope that next year I can weave a new dream and see beautiful things.
